Key Benefits

What's Included & Why It Matters

Brake Inspection

What's Included

We perform a detailed inspection of the entire brake system, checking pads, rotors, calipers, drums, and brake lines for wear or damage.

Why It Matters

Early detection of brake wear or issues ensures your brakes function reliably, reducing the risk of accidents and unexpected breakdowns on the road.

Brake Repair and Replacement

What's Included

We address any brake issues found during the inspection, including adjusting, repairing, or replacing worn brake pads, rotors, drums, or hydraulic lines.

Why It Matters

Timely repairs and replacements restore full braking performance, ensuring your RV stops smoothly and safely under all conditions.

Bearing Pack Service

What's Included

We clean, inspect, repack, and lubricate your RV’s wheel bearings to prevent overheating and reduce friction.

Why It Matters

Properly packed and lubricated bearings extend the life of your wheel hubs and improve towing performance, reducing the chance of costly breakdowns.

Bearing and Seal Replacement

(as needed)

What's Included

We replace damaged or worn wheel bearings and grease seals with high-quality components to maintain system integrity.

Why It Matters

New bearings and seals prevent grease leaks, contamination, and bearing failures that can cause serious on-road issues.

Suspension Hardware & Leaf Spring Inspection

What's Included

Since the RV is already jacked up, we inspect leaf springs and suspension hardware for wear or damage.

Why It Matters

Identifying issues early helps prevent unsafe towing conditions. Replacement is not included but will be recommended if necessary, with additional parts and labor quoted.

FAQ

01.

Q: Do you offer Brake & Bearing System Service for all types of RVs?

A: Our Brake & Bearing System Service is available only for towable RVs, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers. Unfortunately, we do not service motorhomes or any motorized RVs (such as Class A, B, or C units) for brakes, bearings, or engine-related issues. This is due to insurance restrictions that prevent us from performing drivetrain-related work on motorized vehicles.

02.

Q: How often should brakes and bearings be serviced?

A: Manufacturers recommend brake and bearing maintenance every 12 months or 3,600 miles—whichever comes first. Regular maintenance helps prevent costly failures and ensures safe towing.

03.

Q: What if my RV hasn’t been used much in the past year?

A: Even if your RV has been parked, time and exposure can cause grease breakdown, seal deterioration, and brake wear. Annual service is still critical.

04.

Q: What are the signs that my brakes or bearings need attention?

A: Watch for squealing brakes, reduced stopping power, wheel vibration, or unusual noises while towing. These can indicate worn brakes or bearing issues.

05.

Q: What happens if bearings are not maintained?

A: Neglecting bearing maintenance can cause overheating, leading to axle damage, wheel lockups, or even losing a wheel while towing — making regular care essential.

06.

Q: Do you replace brake parts if needed during the service?

A: Yes! If we find excessive wear or damage during the inspection, we'll recommend and replace brake pads, rotors, drums, or other parts to ensure maximum safety.

07.

Q: Do you replace the bearing race during the Brake & Bearing System Service?

A: Yes! When new bearings are needed, they come with new races included—and we install them as part of the replacement. Ensuring both the bearing and race are new helps maintain proper function and longevity.
