How to Measure Your Awning

Find the right awning fabric color and ensure a perfect fit with our simple selection and measuring guide.

Identify Awning

Confirm you are measuring your main patio awning (the large awning attached to the side of your RV).

Record Size

Write down your measurement in feet and inches (example: 16' 0"). Avoid rounding unless necessary.

Measure Arms

Measure from the center of the left awning arm to the center of the right awning arm (see diagram below).

Double Check

Measure a second time to confirm accuracy. Even small discrepancies can result in ordering the wrong size.

Important Notes

Do not measure only the fabric
Do not estimate based on RV length
Replacement fabric is sized based on the awning structure, not the visible material
Incorrect measurements may result in additional costs and delays
